Wow!!! Look at my 'manly' men. They are in the Moab region repelling. They went the first weekend in May and if ever you have struggled with your fears just view the picture of Seth(turning nine the next day) repelling down 110 foot cliff!! He did it! Chris, Dave, Tai, Derek, and Seth spent the day repelling and kayaking. How fun, adventurous and exciting. Or if you feel like my dear father-in-law you might say something like-CRAZY!!!
I am very grateful they were all safe and I love them and admire them- I do not think I could be so brave.

I am posting to say how grateful I am for Spring- daffodil's are blooming in my yard, my husband is home at a reasonable hour since the IRS deadline has now come and gone, the kids ride their bikes again to school and scouts and fun things, the grass is slowly turning green, and even the windy afternoons in Emery county, remind me to be grateful for sunny days instead of those cold winter days. I am a seasonal person and enjoy them all for various reasons, but for some reason I feel very grateful for this spring 2010. Hope your bulbs are blooming for you too. ( I think "blooming where your planted" is spiritual as well as physical.)
Blooming and Grateful!

Two posts in a week this is a record, but my cousin's wife-- I will call her a friend- I do really consider her more of a friend than a cousin-in-law and what exactly is a cousin -in-law (do you have such things). Anyway, she inspired me to be a better blogger and so I will share with you all...
I am not a movie goer, I am not even a movie renter, more of a can't sit down kind of a lady, feel some guilty, because at the movies I want the popcorn with the butter- extra - and I like enough to last the whole movie, it is sooo yummy. The problem is when my calorie counter on my watch says I only burned 250 calories and ran two miles it is discouraging. So maybe that is my real reason I avoid the theatre- I can't say no to that yummy popcorn?
But over Easter we went to the movies-- Chris and Beau went to Clash of the Titans----it is leading our family into a Greek mythology study--- I will let you know the grades on the reports. I went to How to Train Your Dragon with the kids. I liked it. I have always had a bit of a fascination with dragons, but truly I liked the whole premise that sometimes we try so hard as parents to mold our children into something when truly they can make their own way with the skills that have been given them. They will be awesome--- they are awesome in their own way, we do not have to all be vikings and slay things to be 'okay' or we don't all have to be a certain religion, race, political party, etc. Life is about each person establishing their own identity.
So instead of Siskel and Ebert it is Court and kids movie take.
Love chatting with you.

I might officially be the worst blogger.
To all my blogger families I commit to do better, I love my family and keeping in touch with friends, it just doesn't appear like it from my lack of posts.
We are really into baseball-4 kids playing thus far and Luke signed up tonight. No Chris nor I have found new spouses to help attend each game we are doing a lot of splitting up and Recruiting everyone-even Pappa Herb. ( He continues roll his eyes at me.) Derek won tonight and did great
pitching, Tai's team won last night against Price, and Seth and Bet are on the same team- Bethany got her first 'real' hit on Saturday she is still sooooo excited. They played tonight too and did great.
I do not sing Take Me Out to the Ball Game I sing something like Home on the Range I miss my warm house on those windy nights.

Okay! If you are sensitive you probably should not read any further- but I would propose that that if you are a Vet or a mother you can most certainly handle this blog--------------------
So Luke has had some difficulty with going #2, because of this he talks freely about his bodily functions. We celebrate when "it" happens and have used many a suppositories. He also knows that this problem is due to the fact that he will not under any bribe or circumstance (though we have not tried starvation) will not eat fruit or veggies. So tonight I go up to help him with his pajamas and I can smell something. I ask the obvious, "Did you go p**p?" He says, " Yes it is like this mom, when I have to go I dash and shoot and hope it goes in, sometimes I miss." I could only laugh- there was just a bit left for me on the toilet seat.
Oh... Luke.
P.S. Tai took 2nd down in Las Vegas, he did good 27/30 Free Throws, but what made me most proud was how he handled himself, no sadness, he was a true sport happy for the other boy and felt good about his performance.

Happy Birthday to my daughter-she is fantastic, she is talented, beautiful inside and out, friendly, sweet, and a smartie!!!! I can't believe she is seven. She has been such a blessing, from the day she came home our lives have not been the same. we went from an all blue-balls, balls, balls, to a pink and purple fest. Little did we know that was just the beginning, now an entire room is painted purple, dolls, barbies, dresses, hair pretties, and pink balls can be found at our residence. She not only has changed us physically but, she blesses us with a light and joy that is felt by many. How thankful I am for her.
13 13 13 need I say more, I am a mother to a teenager. I do not feel older, I still feel like I could laugh and be silly like I did as a teen , but my late night hours no longer exist. So here I am parenting a teen. He is a good boy and is genuine, I have not met someone so sincere and honest- it is scary sometimes that honesty he shares. Oh sakes, Happy Birthday to Tai! He will be spending his birthday at a hoop shoot in Las Vegas- Good luck to him he has the 'touch.'
* A cute side note, Tai found out his present early- this is how the conversation went--- "Tai is asking for a green D-Will jersey for his birthday (me talking to Kathy)."
Luke says, " Yeah! So we can't tell him we got him one huh mom?"
Tai's reply, "Thanks Luke!"

Happy new Year to all the fellow bloggers!!
What a wonderful Christmas Season: family, friends, sledding, basketball, treats, gifts, treats, sore throats and oh yeah more treats. 2009 is now over and another chapter is beginning in the Justice family's Book of Remembrance.
Just to reflect on last year...
We were blessed spiritually to learn many life lessons on forgiveness, friendships, compassion, charity and most importantly LOVE.
We made it through another broken elbow (the only bones broken in our family) and still managed a wonderful football season.
Sports I can say (unless my mind is failing me) I did very little complaining about driving the family activity bus this year- my red mini van is great- we experienced Bet's Gymnastics, Tai, Dek , and Seth doing Baseball, Basketball, Swimming, and Football, still ran Flag Football and Chris coached the boys and my coaching with Bet's basketball team. FUN! Piano Lessons sometime in that mix- the boys do not refer to it as a sporting event just su'sporting" mom.
Chris and I experienced a true "getaway" in Maui!!!
Chris and I have learned to like our dog!
Seth and Bet got up on water skis.
Dek went to State in the Reflections contest.
Our" Garden of Eden" or weedin' whatever one might call it it still progressing with our new fire pit and pergola.
Oh, how thankful I am for another new year the reflections, the desires and the love to share. Thanks for sharing!!! happy New year to YOU!!
